Girls' QI PAO/Chinese dress.  The frog buttons are made from scratch.

A customer from Etsy asked me if I could create a Lucy Van Pelt dress for ice skating.   A stretchy sparkle fabric first came to mind, then a drop waist style and circle skirt would be great for twirling on the ice ring.  It would be great to add some tulle for the sleeves and neck line ruffles.

Here is the dress.  I also made a pair of shorts and a hair bow to go with it.  I hope Mrs. Ward and her daughter will like it.

I sell costumes on Etsy.  I received 36 orders in one month.  Finally I finished last 8 orders.
Here are some pictures of them.

January, 2012.

When I saw this fabric at Jo Ann, I thought I could sew a camera case for my camera.  I have a machine can do the binding, but this fabric was too thick, I had to bind it using my regular sewing machine. This was my first time doing binding this way.  I made my own bias binding tape.  The ends are not perfect because the fabric is too thick, but I am happy with it.

One mom from our OCMOMS asked if anyone could make some chicken legs and waffles play food for her niece.  Of course I said yes, I could.  And here they are.  12 of each!  I hope you got a good laugh from your niece.  :)

Some hand made doughnut ornaments.  They were gifts for teachers, relatives, and friends.  Here is the picture of few of them.

I made a red dress for this Christmas 2011.  I have few special events that I'd like to attend and wanted to have a new dress that made by myself to wear.  That was a vintage Vogue pattern.  I am so into vintage pattern now.  They are time consuming to make, but have such interesting details and a tailored look.

A mom from our club asked me if I could sew a dress with ruffled collar, puff sleeves and a bow at back for girls, and she showed me some pictures of the dress from a website.  I draft the pattern and made one in size 5T.
Here it is.
